EUPSA History Session
Inauguration
As from 2023 in Izmir a history session was officially integrated in the Annual EUPSA Congress under the name EUPSA History Session. In addition to the name of the session the following motto was added:
“Using Historical Thinking to Imagine the Future”
The new logo incorporates the EUPSA logo as well with a historically significant milestone in the history of Pediatric health.
The Renaissance building of the Ospedale degli Innocenti in Florence dated back to about 1450 was decorated by Andrea Della Robbia with glazed blue terracotta reliefs of babies. This particular baby looks like it is ready to be operated with the body uncovered and the arms stretched on both sides, a popular position of our patients on the operation table.
Committee
In order to organize the EUPSA History Session (EHS) a committee has been created according to the EUPSA statutes.
The committee will evaluate the abstracts which will be submitted via the Oxford system and establish the program for the annual congress.

The Zachariou family donated a trophy which will be awarded to the best presentation of the session.
The evaluation will be performed by the committee and 3 peers from the audience.
Abstract instructions
Abstracts should be submitted through the Oxford system on the submission link of the EUPSA Congress like all the other submissions with the same deadline. (Link for submission)
Abstracts should include a title and the authors followed by a text of maximum 300 words.
